On Wednesday the 16th of November, the director of the American Center, his social affairs coordinator, and the musician Ami Yares came for a visit to our school, El Galil Secondary School. Their visit was aimed at having a site visit and meeting with the students who want to take part in Ami Yares's music program which gets students acquainted with American music and the influence of other cultures on it. Director Sri Kulkarni and Ami Yares spoke to the kids about the importance of a multi-cultural dialogue through music. They mentioned that students who would be chosen for the program would take part in a concert towards the end of the school year.
