For the second year, El-Galil Secondary School, has consecutively taken part in The Israel Middle East Model United Nations’ three-day conference. The TIMEMUN conference, which was held from February 17th till 19th at the Walworth Barbour American International School in Even Yehuda, included schools from all over the country. The 500 multi-national student participants spoke English all throughout the conference and actively participated in the different model committees of the UN. Two delegations from El-Galil represented Netherlands and Chile in eight different committees. They discussed issues, such as oil spills, securing the right to an effective learning, eradicating slavery and human trafficking, and other. The delegations consisted of students from the 10th till 12th grade. They prepared policy statements, did some presentations and voted on clauses and resolutions. The student delegates were
